Don't Forget to Wind the Music Box

A student typography project. A type figure was created based upon a photograph and phrase chosen by the designer. A small portion of the photo was to be included, the remaining figure was to be indicated by manipulating type, using only the letters and typefaces from the phrase. The image used is my daughter in a Halloween costume, playing a character from a popular digital game. The phrase is associated with that character. Type figure was selected to be used on a poster by the Graphic Design and Communicatons Department, to market the program at Salt Lake Community College.
